SQL Server

Hi to all Technet members. Here's my situation. We have a new Hp Server with the following installed:

OS: Windows Server 2008 R2

SQL: Sql Server 2008 R2

My problem is we've installed WhatsUpGold for our monitoring of servers and switches. And since it requires Sql, created an instance name of "WhatsUp"

Alongside with this server is MS SCCM 2007 and again requires Sql as well. Question is do I need to create another instance name/database for SCCM? If yes, is there a step-by-step to ensure that I won't be able to touch the WhatsUp db?
